"loading kernel" Can't access RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN

when i boot my rb2011, the screen on it show
routerboot configuration → load kernel from nand → loading kernel
then the secreen stay on “loading kernel”

both winbox, netinstall can’t detect my router and i have tried screwdriver reset, but nothing different.

what can i do with it?

try reinstall router with netinstall http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall

If you have possibility you might read serial terminal and check if board gives some error message. Have you tried proper netinstall, or you just started netinstall app and checked if router is detected?

i just started netinstall app,
i don’t know about serial terminal before :stuck_out_tongue: and i will try it tomorrow

i would like to know is it ok to simply use lan cable with RJ45-To-USB adapter to connect to my laptop?

mikrotik uses standard cisco style port, so if your cable is compatible your good to go. Personally I used serial pins available on PCB (you have to open case) - these use standard microcontroller levels much like lot of cheap routers.

success to access bios
When booting device from Ethernet, it show “falling back to small packet size” and keep loading, so i can’t find the router option on the netinstall, what is the problem?

Done…

need to match PC’s IP with netinstall’s server IP

thc

And what is the next step after load 5.22 with netinstall every time was reboot.

Deleted because not related.

5.23 ? and where find those version ? in official download page only have 5.22 and 6rc6.

Deleted because not related.

5.23 is on development web page to download. But no changelog

Just added support for new products (await announcement from Distributor very shortly)

why exist few newer version ? like 5.3 -5.9 !!!

http://204.62.56.64/mikrotik/5.9/routeros-mipsbe-5.9.npk

are not stable ?

Huh?

5.9 is older then 5.22

counting 9 - 10 - 11 -12 -13 -22 -29

ok ok i think like 5.2.2 or something like that…

thats right 5.9,5.10 - 5.15,5.18 - 5.19 - 5.20 - 5.22

I had the same problem.

I updated firmwire in bios via serial cable and after that i can only install ROS in netinstall.
