Hey Guys, I did something stupid today. I was trying to disable internet at my home remotely using Android Winbox. This app doesn’t let you adjust the firewall filter rules but it does allow you to enable and disable the interfaces. Well, stupid me I forgot I was outside the network so I first disabled all the LAN interfaces and then proceeded to disable the WAN interface! Now I am locked out remotely and I am pretty sure I will be locked out on the LAN side as well when I get home today. I have a RB450G with OS 4.x. Will I be able to connect using Winbox via the MAC address when I get home or am I screwed and I will need to do a factory reset? My last backup was a few months back so I was really hoping I don’t have to do a factory reset. Thanks
If you disabled interfaces then you will not be able to connect with mac winbox too.
RB450 has serial port so you can connect to that one and enable interfaces.
