Locked out of hAP AC, dump conf with netinstall?

Hi,

I’m having trouble connecting to my hAP AC.

I accidentally blocked all IP connections via a firewall rule (I think by blocking all outbound connections).
MAC connection with Winbox also doesn’t work - just gives me a generic “Connection failed” error. I tried it with a fresh Win10 installation.

Resetting the router would be possible, but I prefer not to because I don’t have a recent configuration backup :frowning:

I saw that Netinstall has the possibility to run custom scripts while keeping the current configuration. Unfortunately, I don’t have another RouterOS device nearby to test this.

Is there another way to save my RouterOS configuration?

You can try to solder serial console wires, if there are pins for that inside. Reset and make config again is the easiest way.
