Locked out....please help!

I have a hAP Lite router and I somehow locked myself out.

If I use winbox it can find the MAC address when I click on the MAC address and click connect is says: "could not get index: missing file!

When I select the IP it tries to connect but then times out and says: could not connect to 192.168.1.1 (port 80) - no response!

Another strange thing is if I check the IP address on my computer it shows:

IP : 192.168.88.254
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Router: 192.168.88.1
DNS: 192.168.88.1

Can someone help me reset this back to factory setting so I can start over.

May happen that hap is not compatible with v2 winbox. I have read something about it here on the forum…

Maybe i skipped something, but…did you try HW reset?

I tried to reset multiple times. Either I was doing it wrong or it doesn’t work.

I downloaded the latest version on winbox and was able to reconnect…

can you try to delete all files inside user profile in winbox folder in appdata
