Over the past year or so I’ve purchased a few dynadish to use as PTP links. The first few units I got were able to use the DFS bands. After a few went out due to storms , the replacements I ordered would not use the DFS bands which really hampered performance. In just checking with my distributor I find this is still the case , however I also find the other manufacturers are able to indeed use the DFS bands , Cambium and Ubiquiti to name a couple. So I’m wondering , why can these other companies use this part of the spectrum but MT can’t , or won’t.

I’m wondering the same thing.
We use Aruba Network APs, and they CAN use DFS channels. Maybe it’s a misinterpretation of regulations, I don’t know. But it would be great to regain use of those channels.
