locking band R11e-LTE6

Hi guys, I have the R11e-LTE6.
I would like to lock the primary band, I couldn’t find anything inside the online documentation, what should I search in it? https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/
Is there any tutorial that explain how to do it and especially how to reverse to automatic band selection?
thank you

Hi guys, I am trying this but I get onli an error output. I begin wondering if R11e-LTE6 (SXT kit) can lock bands
/interface lte at-chat lte1 input=" at+qnwlock="common/4g",1,3350,60"

wrong.

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/LTE#Using_Cell_lock
/interface lte at-chat lte1 input=“ATCell=2,3,1300,384" - enable CellLock at earfcn=1300 and physical-cell id=384
/interface lte at-chat lte1 input="AT
Cell=1,3,1300” - enable FreqLock at earfcn=1300
/interface lte at-chat lte1 input=“AT*Cell=0” - disable Lock

Thank you very much! I had already seen this wiki page but I forgot it.
there’s a littel problem…
I think it work but the internet stops working, I can’t surf any website.

[admin@MikroTik] > /interface lte at-chat lte1 input=“ATCell=2,3,3350,60"
output: +CGEV: NW PDN DEACT 5
[admin@MikroTik] > /interface lte at-chat lte1 input="AT
Cell=0”
output: +CGEV: ME DETACH

If modem drops off network when you lock it to some cell, then don’t do it. If your favourite MNO does at least half decent job with optimisation of their LTE network then there are very few reasons to lock to some cell instead of letting network do it’s job.

On Italy the software change often the data for optimizing the use, locking the cell is like auto-ban

It is not like a point-to-point, the network must be used by everyone.

Blocking the device means that if a cell instructs the device to attach itself somewhere else (due to overuse by the user or other requests from other users on the same cell) and does not, the cell puts it in the black list of incompatible devices for some time.

In Poland we have in Orange policy where first Tower of registration to MNO is your “home area” and only in this area you have your offer/plan of GB and proper speed.
Connection to other BTS limit you speed because this is a Plan for home offer.
Thanks to CellLock we can be still connect to better BTS who give us more speed then from automatic connection.

Other MNO/ISP at Poland not use that policy, no limit CellLock, no block traffic when your UE not move to other cell. And most important, Poland ISP are not have differ plans per IMEI and we not must found a way to change IMEI to spoof UE as phones etc.

Summary: Differ MNO, differ policy :slight_smile: or No CellLock, No Fun :slight_smile:
