log ip and mac address

Hi

Is there a way to log the ip and mac address for each dhcp allocation (both on one line) ?

Hello! Yann

Oh! yes you can!! it is very easy with Mikroitk Router OS.

just follow bellow steps :slight_smile:

Login In to router using winbox

click on ==>> System ==>> Logging

Click on + sign

Select topic ==>> DHCP ==>> Click on OK

YOU ARE DONE,

open router log to view client IP and MAC address. don’t forget to set NTP client in the router to get correct time in the log file.

also if you want your DHCP log in to your windows PC let me know that is also possible to store all your DHCP log in to your Windows PC.
