I’d like to be able to log information captured by the hotspot login page. Specifically, I want to be able to create a field with a variable value such as a last name or email address and have the mikrotik log it when a user logs on. I’ve gone through the hotspot manual and while there are several things that can be logged from the login page, I’m unable to find something that I can define that the mikrotik would log; such as a comment or note. Is this possible?
No, it is not. But it does automatically log the username in the Hotspot debug logs that is used to logged in with.
If you used some external RADIUS server for the user database, it could probably be possible to make it on the radius side.
