Logging issue

Hey guys,

I am trying to log my mikrotik but stuck on some parts. I created firewall rule and can see logs on syslog daemon.

BUT, my router manages 25 servers and 5 minutes of log is 2.5 GB. Do I have chance to send my log directly FTP server? If i leave it like that, log amount is increasing and it saturates router.

I just want to log in-out ips with time for legal reasons.

You can send your logs to a syslog-ng server. That may be your best bet. When you get them over to syslog-ng you’ll have a lot more options around what you want to do with the data from a retention stand point as well.
