login from an android phone

Hi all.

Many times i’ve tried to login from my phone using a ssh app to a mikrotik box, always get to machine but freeze on authentication process and drop the ssh connection. Can someone please give an idea of the problem..?

I am not sure about the SSH on an Android Phone. Have you tried Webfig? It actually works really well.

there are many SSH programs for android. Try another one

if it is free program, you could name it, and possibly someone brave enough would try it out. Or just try another one. Better go for webfig :slight_smile:

I am able to login to my MT devices on Android (HC 3.2 on Asus Transformer) using ConnectBot. I also can put my traffic through a ssh tunnel.


If you are looking for help, tell us the software you are using.

Are you using the correct user account ?

Do you see anything in the logs of the MT ?

Hi all.

Yes, i use Connectbot to do the job. I just find out i was filtering ssh.
