Hello Everyone, First post no Mikrotik. I’m on my 4th day with Mikrotik.
I had the same problem with Android devices using a AP device connected to a router (ClearOS.) I found that the AP was not a true AP bridge. I found a cheap $30 (new) D-Link DAP-1360 AP that works great (IPv4.) But what I did find out about some AP devices is that they are wireless routers without the switch ports and would not pass (bridge) the packets and the ClearOS router (Firewall) would drop them. Android doesn’t like TKIP or WPA. I use AES and WPA2. I’ll work on the IPv6 this weekend and post if I have any problems.
i think the whole problem is lollipop phone support ipv6 and on my network ther is some routers that they divide dhcb ipv6 and all my network is access points bridge
if i can contact with some one whos speak arabic pleas
Is this still a wide-spread issue as I seem to be having the same problem with v6.33? I wanted to check whether the latest updates should have fixed the fault, as if so, the problem I’m having may be due to something else. I’ve recently bought a second-hand Nexus 5 running Lollipop from a used for sale site online. I’m concerned that the phone might be the problem but then I have tried it on different setups and I don’t have any issues. Like Khaleday12, I could probably do with talking through my issue with someone on the phone if possible.
If someone could confirm whether this is still a known fault in the meantime, I’d be very grateful?
