Looking for a MikroTik wireless consultant...

Hi!
We’re a small non-profit society in the sticks of British Columbia, Canada who are struggling with our system. We need the help of a (paid!) consultant who can guide us through the more technical parts of our system. Here’s some of the things we need help with:

-Overall network setup–for example, we are currently using fixed IP addresses. We need to establish whether there is a case to go to dynamic addressing to conserve the fixed number of addresses we have.
-Overall network expansion–how we will add towers and maintain maximum system throughput.
-Programming of AP’s and P-P links.
-Programming of CPE’s.
-Occassional troubleshooting or question answering.
-and hopefully, helping us to set up “The Dude” monitoring software.

Our equipment is currently 100% MT, with AP’s and P-P links RB433AH, radios all R52’s, and CPE’s all RB411’s. And a heck of a bunch of Rootennas.

As you may have guessed, there aren’t many MT technical propellerheads to be found in the sticks of backwoods BC! If you have used a consultant with good results, or know someone who has done so, please let me know! And if you are a consultant, with some credentials and experience, and extra time, don’t be shy!

Thanks,
Jon.

Hi,
Thanks for all your replies–and the back channel responses!! We have serveral potential consultants to contact, from nearly all over the world! I’m checking out the references of a fellow who looks like he can help us fairly quickly. Winter is setting in here and we need to get at least two towers completed before Jack Frost parks his hoary bum in our neighborhood for the winter.

Unfortunately, in this kind of game, there are winners and losers–All I can say, for those who we passed over, is “thank you for taking the time to respond to us!”

Thanks again,
Jon.
