Looking for a router for my FTTH connection

Hello guys,

As per title i am looking for a router for my office network my requirements are the following:

  • Possible SFP port (currently the fiber is connected to the switch then switched on the router)
    Rack mount-able

Currently i am on a 100/100 line and i find it okay but i might as well upgrade in the future to a 500 mbit or 1 Gbit when the price drop, So i was looking for a router that could satisfy my requirements and maybe give me a room to breath (in case i decide to upgrade my Wan connection)

I was looking at the RB2011UiAS-RM or RB1100AHx2 any suggestion is welcome :wink:

I wish you searched a bit more about this topic here around. You wouldn’t ask question that was answered many times here. 2011 is weak for 500mbit. If you want to route/nat at 1gbit, you need ccr.

if you want a best router for FTTH connection then use Cisco router which you can get from cisco router support
