Looking for rugged AP

hello guys,
I’m planning for set up wifi in a butcher factory, where they every day clean rooms with aggresive cleaning agents… They will not spray cleaning agent directly on to AP, but in a room there is a haze of water, chlorine and disinfectant every day…

I plan to use Metal 52 ac. What do you thing guys. Will it survive that sort of hostile environment…?

Get a bunch of wAP AC and spread them around.

Concur,
Nice powerful unit.

(dual 2.4 and 5ghz)

The other option I see are the omni outdoor models but only for 5ghz freq.
For AC 5ghz

The reason to go with these as suggested IE, a number of them providing coverage, is that a more powerful
long range outdoor device may be able to reach a distant device, but that device will not reach back one needs to design
the wifi network in general for the weakest links, (user devices). The thing I am having troubling dealing with is the effects of long metal hooks and hanging carcasses.

Even as the wAP and Netmetal is IP54 rated , it can still be put in an IP65 or IP67 enclosure as extra protection.
There are many enclosures that allow wifi signal to pass and protect very well. The haze might enter the IP54 enclosure.
My reference is only Google search, but this (just the first search hit) is what I mean with extra protection enclosure: http://911phone.net/wifi.htm

Mikrotik states IP66 for the Netmetal ac2, dealer sites say IP54.

Thanks for suggestions… I have a luxury of testing period, so I’ll probably set up one Metal ac and one WAP in IP65 plastic case for a month or two and then I’ll opened them both up, to se how rj45 connector and electronic board is affected…

The nice thing about the case bpwl noted is that you can put a regular AP in that case and thus not limited to the limited selection of outdoor capable ones!!
