Hi guys, I am not coming for the field of IT and have a question for you.
I want to set up my own hot spot for free WIFI connection. In exchange for the free wifi, users will need to submit their email adress.
My question is can I do that each visitor that will connect to my wifi will get his own ip adress and not all the visitors will be on the same ip?
Someone told me Mikrotik can do that, thats why I am asking it in this forum.
Also what will be the devices i need to operate this kind of wifi if i need like 30-50 meter of proper wifi signal
im more or less in the same boat we have a captive portal which the user logs into for their free wifi, im looking at setting up a 2nd ssid to give a staff access
Are you using any RADIUS server or you want to make it in mikroitk it self ??
we are using a radius server
I am not using anything at the moment and i am willing to buy something that will help me with it. what i need the most is that visitors will have free WIFI when they submit their email and most important thing is that each of the visitors will get different IP adress. How can I do that?
