I’m looking for a video guide/tutorial to take me step by step throught the system and set up. Anybody got a link to that?
I not found any ot this at YouTube.
I just insert SIM and receive internet via cable.
What you want to setup ?
I am having issues, but the main reason I’m looking for tutorials is to learn the product. I don’t mind asking questions, but I like to learn.
1- I inserted my sim (att), but I’m only getting 3g with right now. I know there is 4g LTE here. I set the APN to: Broadband
2- How do I set this up to monitor the unit from my base? Eventually I will get calls on services going down. I think the Dude is for that but to link it? I am cluless.
3- Are IMEI numbers now working in the USA on these new units? That would help with Sprint.
I buy and read all Amazon books related to RouterOS.
I go to MTCNA.
I practise without hardware at GNS3 virtualization platform.

Proper APN name you can know from your ISP and google. Small and Upper letters can have difference.
In EMEA the APN=internet is a general.
About LTE Band’s you should check the wikipedia with list of ISP per Country and Band listing. Or general info in google.
LTE Band and USA → this is many times at this forum.
2- How do I set this up to monitor the unit from my base?.
Monitor means Cell-Monitor? Just not setup any band’s and run cell-monitor to show what Band/Tower is detected in LTE.

You can check/monitor the lte state by many ways. ROS give many possibility.

I don’t know the problem. Sprint is ISP?

Which is why the APN is set to broadband. That is AT&T’s

I use all the tools that has been suggested. Cell phone with the same carrier standing beside the LHR is getting 4G on bands 12 and 66. Therefore, the LHR should be able to do 4G LTE on band 12.
Right now, I’m starting to look for alternatives to Mikrotik. I like the professional “dish” look, but there are other units that are more plug and play ready and one can’t seem to get answers here. When you are seeking products for your business… I like knowing there is some support in the company forum. I have been here for months reading and started posting and am getting little from the staff/mods. If not for you and one other guy, there would be no responses.
Gigair
I use google to search information and, The https://www.4gapn.com/us/en/att give info::
ISP: | us United States | AT&T Wireless Inc. | APN: NXTGENPHONE or phone or broadband
- NXTGENPHONE ← unlocked non AT&T devices 4G
- phone ← phones from AT&T
- broadband ← tablets
But you should ask the ISP what is preffered APN when you have divece not from AT&T itself, I not sure that Info I find is still valid.

Not the LHGR but modem inside is important. From other your cases I assume that it is r11e-LTE6.
Then Band 2 (1900Mhz) and Band 12 (700 Mhz) should works with your ISP.
I not have the list of band for AT&T and not try search it at internet - you can compare the Band list of your ISP with MikroTik modem (documentation).
Band 2 is from the speed one, you maybe can connect with @20Mhz width - then you can reach good speed.
Band 12 is 700Mhz :(, Your antenna is LHGR who at documentation have bad Gain at 700Mhz, like this ![]()

This forum is for community, not for support.
Any company should buy RB from distributor who provide right own support. Next one is Consultant or doing certyfication by itself. Forum is not official support and even the Support Portal have not any SLA, remote assist etc. MikroTik is a vendor, not support his device in directly way.
You should always check with your ISP but sometimes it can be tough to get through the phone support because of wait times. Check your APN settings https://www.setapn.com/att-4g-lte-apn-settings/. One more thing, most of the time people make the mistake of not restarting the phone after chaning APN settings. Restart must be done in order to take effect for the new settings.
