I have ver 2.8 of MT running on a PC with a 10Mbits fiber connection. I am looking to do some QoS for VoIP traffic. I am doing inbound NAT on port 10000-20000 already for the inbound calls.
Getting some echoing and looking to run QoS to help that out. I currently do QoS on the LAN side right now.

Any idea on what the cost of upgrading to 2.9 would be??
Also I am thinking about moving to an appliance type device instead of a PC to reduce the hardware failure points , ie HDD , CPU fan , etc.
Any thoughts of comparison between Cisco ASA series , Juniper SSG / Netscreen series and 2.9???
