I run SwOS 1.1. I have port 2-5 on sepperate VLANS (VLAND 2-5) with overlapping network on Port 1 (VLAN 1 all ports are members) I am forcing the VLAN ID Forcing the VLAN ID’s on Ingress traffic for ports 2-5 and leaving Egress traffic as is and all ports. This way Ports 2-5 cannot see broadcast requests from each other like dhcp. However, if a person on one of those ports accidently loops using a hub then it takes down the main router plus the switch. Is there a configuration to lock out ports that start loops or mess with the spanning tree.
