Loss packet on station wds

Hi all,
I have an AP configured as “ap bridge”; on this i have some stations registered and a static wds (i have the same problem with dynamic wds).
The Ap is using nv2 protocol and accepts dynamic wds.

The wds interface is part of a bridge while the wlan1 is in another bridge.

The problem is that, when the wlan1 interface is satured (or, however, has a lot of traffic), it seems to drop packets that are destinated to the wds client while it doesn’t drop the ones that are destinated to the clients in station mode.
With “packets” i mean icmp packets (ping).

I’ve done different tests, now i’m using routeros 6.36.4 (but i also tried older versions).
Should it be something related to the Interface Queues? It seems that wlan1 and wds uses different queues so, when wlan1 is full, it does not consider traffic of wds (which is in another queue).
Or should it be something related to the bridge parameters?

Thanks

It is related to physics limitations, a single radio has to switch back and forth between AP mode and station mode when WDS requires it, saturation makes it more obvious.

Solution: use a double radio unit, and use the second unused interface to build PTP or PtMP connections between the devices.

Thanks for the answer,
I didn’t understan why the radio switches from AP to station mode.
Shouldn’t it works always as Ap Bridge? Why it works in station mode?

Thanks

Are you saying that stations connected to this ap-bridge are all setup as station-wds? If so, why?

No, there are different stations in “station mode” and only one wds (station-wds).
Maybe I understood, did you mean that the radio switches between AP mode and Bridge mode (for the wds station)?

Thanks

can you post the wireless config of the station-wds radio? (export)
