Lost MetaRouter config after 4.8 to 4.10 update

I experienced two instances where one of my MetaRouter VMs lost its configuration after software upgrades to the host system.

Once was when I upgraded my RB1100 from ROS 4.8 to 4.10. The VM lost all of its config in /ip firewall filter.

The second happened tonight when I upgraded the firmware on the RB1100 from 2.26 to 2.27. The same VM lost all configured VLANs in /interface vlan. They were attached to a static interface which is a GigE port from the main system.

Could anyone at MikroTik shed some light on the possible causes for this?

was metarouter already configured some time before, or just before the updates?

The VM was setup a few days before. The updates to /ip firewall filter were performed shortly before the software upgrade. The VLAN configuration had been present for a number of days before the firmware upgrade.
