Hey there,
I have a MikroTik hAP AC running at home as WLAN-AP (it shoud do no more than that). Some days ago I did an upgrade and now I do not have a webinterface. The system just don’t answers if I try to open the webinterface. The system is running and the WLAN is there.
I have installed the configuration-app on my android device an via MAC I can open the interface (but not via IP). But I can not work with the android-app. It is so confusing… worse than the webinterface is…
Is there a way to get my webinterface back? (I don’t have any Windows-Systems running so winbox is no option to me.
Sure there is, but you’ll have to use the Android app to do that.
After the upgrade, the configuration may have got corrupt in terms that either the web interface has been disabled, or firewall rules have been added which block access to it, or simply the IP address of the device may have been attached to a wrong interface. Hard to say.
So check whether a “terminal” window can be used in the app, type /export hide-sensitive in it, and paste the result here.
A simpler way may be to reset the router’s configuration to default and then re-build it. Only you have enough information regarding the complexity of the configuration to decide.
