Low LAN Throughput

Hi there

I have an RB600A with 1 x R5H and 1 x R52Hn cards. The R5H connection runs fine, and give me up to 60mbps between the two PCs. The R5Hn however does not. When I do an bandwidth test between the two RB’s I get up to 100mbps, but when trying to transfer data between the PC’s it limits it to around 20mbps. What could be causing this?

Obviously the LAN cable is not an issue, as the R5H uses the same one and runs just fine.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure there is N connection established to the client? Probably there is regular 802.11a, which gives you 20Mbps.

Can you print out wireless status when you sending data over R52Hn wireless card. It seeams more suitable subject is Low wireless Throughput and more information you can find under this topic
