I bought a SXT LTE6 antenna I did a speed test with a smartphone and I got a result of 90 Mbps in download while with the antenna I got a result of just 25/30 Mbps,
what can it be due to? I would have expected the opposite result
since the SXT LTE6 has a much higher gain than a smartphone, or did I do something wrong in the configuration? I tried all the possible solutions, for the aggregation of the bands B1 B3 B7 B20 but the result has not changed.
Hi, unfortunately there are no step-by-step guides on how to deploy a SXT or LHG. I have gathered some links below that might help out. Feel free to read through and come back with further questions. As an initial suggestion, use your phone to get connection information (eg LTE band, Cell ID, etc) for the most suitable BTS.
And you should check what tower was connect at phone.
You can found some code to show network diagnostic or install proper app.
About Mikrotik you can do a Cell-Monitor with activated B1&3, again with 7&20 and in results you see your detected Mast/Towers with they Antennas.
You can connect not to automatical Tower but to selected by Cell Lock feature (check documentation).
Maybe MikroTik connect to other Tower/Band who is just slower.
Maybe your phone is new, have 5G and big LTE Category who connect B3+1+7+20 and with worse antenna give more speed.
Maybe CellLock fix your situation.
