I am just trying to understand this:
I have a test setup in my office of a PTP 5Ghz-A 40Mhz turbo link with RB433s on both end, both running 6.35.2.
On the one I have a PPPoE server with radius to UM and on the second one I have a PPPoE client. I am running a btest from x86 pc to x86 pc behind the two and getting about 40Mbps send on udp over the PPPoE link.
If I disable the PPPoE and assign static addresses to the wlan and use that instead, I get about 60Mbps on the same test.
Is it the extra overhead of PPPoE that reduces the speed or is there something that I am doing wrong ? Do i need to change or add a queue type ?
