Hello i want to maintain a static local ip 192.168.7.xx from my l2tp vpn, but when i create a profile and set local ip to an unused local ip and assign the profile to the l2tp client the l2tp keeps disconnecting and connecting

I put my static IPs in the PPP secret field, not the profile, works fine.
