Ltap Dual SIM problem

We just got our first bunch of LTAP LTE kit. We are trying to utilize the SIM up-down feature which described here https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Dual_SIM_Application , but when we try to give out the command:

/system routerboard sim set sim-slot=down

it won’t work, and the device saying

bad command name sim .

Can somebody please tell me, what we are doing wrong? Roaming is allowed, both SIMs are placed correctly in 2nd and 3rd SIM slot.

Thank you in advance.

Depending on the device or version, the sim-slot name do vary. e.g. it may “a”…“1”…“up”

If you running 6.45.1, they renamed them for the LtAP:

ltap - renamed SIM slots “up” and “down” to “2” and “3”;

But if you hit in the console after typing sim-slot= it will “autocomplete” the potential choices for the version/device.

Hi!

The problem is, when i try to use the “sim” command under /system routerboard, it won’t recognize it, and i cannot proceed with the up-down or 2-3 commands. How is that possible? The device is on 6.45.1 stable at the moment.

Thanks for the help!

Selecting a SIM slot up/down (SIM2/SIM3) is only for “miniPCIe Slot2”.
Modem in Slot1 have his own SIM1.
