Already did that. SIM cards are all active and work fine in slot 2 and 3. I checked the routerboard resources and it only recognizes one modem. On the interface section only LTE1 appears.
The only thing I didn’t mention (an important one by the way…I’m sorry for that) is that I disconnected the original antenna that came with the LTAP. Instead I installed 2 MIMO (Poynting PUCK-2) omnidirectional antennas, one for each modem. Inside 2 pigtails (UFL to SMA) for each modem. If I switch everything (SIM cards, antennas) the result is always the same: The bottom modem works and the top one doesn´t, though it works on my LHG antenna.
What am I doing wrong here. Is it something about software that I need to do before it is recognized?
Here you can find information.
If only LTE1 it shows and you have 2 miniPCIe modems installed, you need to change the power output of the second modem from USB (Default) to MiniPCIe.
PD: How much is better the Poynting PUCK-2 antenna vs internal LtAP antenna?
Regards.
