Probably not because it takes much more than simple NMEA datagram reception to set NTP server’s clock to precise time. AFAIK Mikrotik’s GPS module lacks required interfaces (e.g. 1PPS interface), possibly NTP server lacks required drivers as well.
I’ve found this topic http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/ltap-mini-does-built-in-gps-have-1pps-support/120037/1
where marekm said "RouterOS has had the ability to work as GPS synchronized NTP server for a long time - but its accuracy was limited by missing 1PPS support. "
So it must work but with lack of accuracy. Will it be a great problem?
I think Normis had commented saying he thought 1PPS may be possible on this device in the future.
I want to know this too. I buy or not LtAP mini to use it as GPS time server? Some guru respond or someone who know this things.
