Hello.
There is some questions about GPS in this device:

  1. Should it work with internal antenna?
  2. Does it share same serial with onboard console port? I could not find any other serials aside from serial0.
  3. If i turn on logging for gps and there is messages like below, does that mean that module itself is working and just cant find any satellite?

All of this is explained in the paper that came with the device:

  1. External antenna is required, if device is used inside a vehicle or indoors and some miniPCIe card is in the device.
  2. Yes, To enable GPS, set the port to serial0 (this disables the DB9 port on the unit).

When attaching or removing an external GPS antenna, the unit must be turned off (GPS uses an active, 3V antenna, it can damage the chip, if plugged when unit is on)

I had do download brochure, to see that antenna is required. Please, adjust description on product page.
Product page only mentions that external antenna is available, but does not mention that it is required.

People told this years ago. Please, spend 5 minutes.
“External GPS antenna is required and sold separately (product code ACGPSA). Also you will need a pigtail (product code ACSMAUFL).”
Easy enough.
