LtAP - usb mode?

Hi

Some time ago I bought LtAP LTE kit (or 4g I don’t remember) and I’m using additional pci-e R11e 2ghz to use 2.4 ghz as both station (to IoT devices in car) and AP (for laptops, phones etc).

According to this diagram:

USB should be mutually exclusive with pci-e slot. But today I actually connected gigabit dongle to USB port and it just works. I have USB-type set to “USB-type-A” but at the same time secondary wifi card works just fine.

Does it mean R11e works now in some USB fallback mode? Are there some drawbacks of this approach?

With LTE + Wi-Fi not problem, but if you have 2 LTE miniPCIe modules, you need to set the mode to miniPCIe.
