Has anyone stripped a LtAP down?
If so, it it possible to remove the supplied 1.5dBi antennas and upgrade them to something more substantial?

i added external LTE antennas a while ago to one. there is a good pdf describing the process with some internal pictures on mikrotik’s hw section

as far as i see, the WiFi antennas can not be changed. but they perform quite well, i have one device installed as OoB access to a MW installation and left the wireless on so on-site connectivity doesn’t require anyone to use 4G or climb the pole. i was able to pick up the signal with -70dBm with a hap ac2 located indoors in a house from ~50m distance.
but compared to a wap-ac, i have an unit roughly 300m away from the ltap-mini mounted on a pole about the same height, and they see each other with the regulatory compliant wireless settings with -72dBm.
