Hi, resently I bought a LtAP LTE Kit and added the R11e-LTE-US on the other slot.
When device start, only shows LTE (international) and if I do a USB power reset, appears my second interface, but after 3 seconds dissapears.
Regards.

It is a known issue specifically with the USA variant of the R11e modem, if two cards are used in the LtAP. We are working on a solution.
Oh, thanks normis.
Regards.
There is a photo of the unit with SIM card.

Ok, sorry for a lot of posting, but now it’s solved. I re-inserted a couple of times until it worked.
Now I wait for a solution for US LTE card. For me it’s my “backup ISP” (For failover).
Regards.
Now I have the last question.
On the web page and datasheet, says that this board have 128MB of RAM, but Winbox and Mikrotik app says that the total memory is 256MB.
It’s a issue with loading the memory or mistakes on typing the specifications?
Regards.

Some MikroTik routers have more RAM, if some chips are easier to source, but we advertise the lower amount, so that the surprise is positive, not negative.
Ok thanks for all normis.
Regards.
Hello normis.
All that I need is this command to see my interface on list:
/system routerboard usb set type=mini-PCIe
Now I see my two LTE interfaces!
Regards.
so this tells me there are 2 usb ports, one is hardwired to the 1st mpcie slot, while the other is switchable between the 2nd mpcie slot and the type-a external port. ![]()
i was totally hoping for 3 independent ports so i can use this box as a mobile connected OOB device w/o an extra USB hub.
meh, RTFM, i should have just checked this: https://i.mt.lv/cdn/rb_files/LtAP-2HnD-190626134301.png
Why use some weird USB switch solution instead of standard USB 2.0 hub chip?
I had good application for LtAP with two LTE cards (for main and a backup links) and USB for external sensors, but this switching totally kills it. Great!
Lately design choices for new Mikrotik devices are just plain weird…
Well, if it has 3 SIM card slots, the idea is can to use all his slots at the same time, but with this you can only use two, or is that I believed, because is impossible to get “running” on the interface. It connects “successfully” to the tower, over 3G or LTE (both works) but never get R on the interface.
As you can see, RSRP is -115dBm (very poor), but if I move my antenna I can get -106dBm (something better) and get the same results.
I tested the SIM on a Android mobile and works perfect. The SIM card is new.
Probably of this normis was refered when he said that international LTE and US LTE cards can’t work together on the big LtAP.
Some time ago, I tried to do this same test on my RBM33G and it worked perfectly.
I attatched a screenshot. And if I enable debug logging on LTE I get the second screenshot.
Regards.

OK. I have the final news. I not know that happened but today my R11e-LTE**-US** is running on my LtAP LTE kit for first time!!!
I’m super super happy. For many days I disabled the interface and now I enabled to see what happens (if it finally connects [and I supposed that no]) but finally works!!!
To summarize all the topic presented here of all this time. The solution was simply change the power from USB to miniPCIe slot. Now it deigned to connect.
All my gratitude to all the support presented here and now I declare this thread for finished.
Regards.
