I’ve rolled out a few LHGG LTE6 kit in 4G areas. I need to deploy a backup in London. Its a 5G area. when will MikroTik be rolling out 5G LTE’s? can I simple change the pci card with a 5G modem?
The new Chateau 5G is in announcements newsletter but we not know details about a LTE Slot inside and if this new R11mL card is on m.2 Slot or again it’s soldered to PCB.
Other SXTR/LHGR/LDFR and Chateau in theyr PCB are prepared for m.2 slot be we still wait for them.
Without m.2 slot we can buy Quectel RM502Q and run it with m.2 adapter but this is still like DIY version, you can search other 5G post at forum about details.
