We use the RB411U with a Sierra MC8705 for remote communications over the cell networks.
On first boot, the LTE interface appears as lte1 and from there I configure the device as needed. However - sometimes the interface randomly changes on reboot to lte2 and then none of the DHCP client or APN settings take effect and the RB is unreachable in the field.
What could be causing the LTE interface to change from lte1 to lte2 and is there a way for me to set a DHCP client for the lte2 interface even if it does not exist yet ? That way when it randomly changes, it will still get an IP address and be accessible.
