LTE Passthrough

Hello.

I’m a new Mikrotik owner. I’ve got a SXT LTE with the R11e-LTE modem. RouterOS is at 6.48.
I’ve managed (mostly thru the “Quick Set”) to make the LTE connection (and get a huge boost in signal) and properly setup a dhcp server for the lan (currently just one PC while I fiddle with this).
My question is, is there a way to make the SXTLTE do a straightthrough connection so that my Netgear router gets the public IP, but open another channel (vlan?) so I can still access the SXTLTE while it’s on the Passthrough mode?

I ask this because RouterOS is a bit way over my head, but the quality of the hardware is there, and I’d love to be able to manage the network on the netgear router which I’m very familiar with.

Many thanks!
Be safe!
Marcos.

Anyone? I’ve setup as stated in the wiki, but I can’t access management.

Have a search of the forums. You can either do the VLAN approach or use RoMon. Personally, I don’t bother with passthrough since it just adds more hassle than it is worth.

You can disconnect a second router, connect your PC and use a Mac address in WinBox to do a connection. You can add a IP at ether1 for backup connection (of course at PC you must setup it too).
You have always few options.
