LTE USB modem not listed in ports - hEX RB750Gr3

Hello,

I’ve bought an hEX RB750Gr3 router (upgraded to v6.38.3 routeros) and I am trying to get my 4g usb modem from Vodafone (ZTE R216-Z) work with it.

The modem it’s listed under resources but not under ports:

[admin@MikroTik] > system resource usb print
 # DEVICE VENDOR NAME SPEED
 0 2:1 Linux 3.3.5 xhci-hcd xHCI Host Controller 5000 Mbps
 1 1:1 Linux 3.3.5 xhci-hcd xHCI Host Controller 480 Mbps
 2 1:3 Vodafone(ZTE) Vodafone R216-Z 480 Mbps

[admin@MikroTik] > port print
Flags: I - inactive
 # DEVICE NAME CHANNELS USED-BY BAUD-RATE

Is there any trick to get the modem to show up under ports?

I will be glad if someone can help me.

Same here, I tested with a RBhAP AC lite and it list it as device, but it doesnt appear to work on RB750GR3

Any word about this?.

Thanks in advancement

Today I was checking ROS 6.39rc55 changelog and saw that they added support for R216. Maybe this device isn’t so different from the R216-Z.

Can you check if it fixes? For the next few day I’ll be not able to test by myself.

Regards

You can’t find, because it uses the LTE interface. Otherwise it works well (15mbps/30mpbs)
