I have a wireless Network and all user appear with the same Mac Address in the hotspot users window.. so when they connect to the router just one client work on the internet and the other disconnected and when they try to connect the the other client disconnected … can i disable mac address authentication or something else?
thanks in recent for help
Most likely users are connecting using router/bridge, that bridge is not acting as true bridge (or MAC cloning is enabled).
Probably, you have to modify ‘addresses-per-mac’ option,
http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/2.9/ip/hotspot.php?permalink=0.22196521095484825
number of IP addresses allowed to be bind with any particular MAC address.
Sorry but how can i modify it
i wrote this in the MT RouterOS 2.9.6.
/ip hotspot set addresses-per-mac=unlimited
but the router send that this not available
So please help me cause iam new for this networking
I suggest you to upgrade the router to the latest RouterOS version (2.9.34), the latest version contains the newest updates and features.
What kind of error is shown in logs ?
If no more sessions allowed for the users, then you need to modify ‘shared-users’ option. Option states for the number of users simultaneosly logged to HotSpot using the same login.
this is the log i have i take a photo
there is three users with same MAC address with different IPs :
163.212.44.144, 163.212.44.177, 163.212.44.178

Upgrade your router to the latest RouterOS version and try suggested options.
