MAC-TELNET doest not work

and window title bar says MAC Telnet 00:0C:42:xx:xx:xx (Disconnected)

but PASSWORD is correct ! client is correctly reachable using winbox+ip, dunno why is mactelnet not working, it is realy annoying - i must go there on client side when i do sg wrong (ip address changing/removing/reconfiguring) in configuration and client is still connected on ap but i cant connect there …

I don’t think it is 5.24 problem, I have been experiencing this from about a year ago… when i first noticed that, it was rare for mac-telnet NOT TO work,then it was contunuously getting worse and worse and now it is rare for mac-telnet TO work…

if anyone knows the solution, i would be very thankful for that.

do youhave the unit in the ip neighboor list. Try to mac-telnet from there, not wireless registration table.

so, in one case, it does not work from wireless registration table, but works from ip neighbor…

in another case, it does not work from registration table, nor from ip neghbor…

is this problem happening only on the Nv2 APs or also on regular 802.11 APs?

this is a common thing. that have been way back to 2.9.23 ore something like that.

At once as you put an wlan interface to bridge, there is a bit random, if its possible to do a mac telnet directly from registration table, or if you have to go to ip-neighbor and take it from there. (even if mac is the same)

I noticed that the 5.21 version MAC telnet worked across the table and over Neighbors. From 5.22 until version 6.0 through wireless table does not work, but from the Neighbors working properly.
