Magic Jack delay

Good day,

I am new to the forum and I did a search on MagicJack and found nothing. VOIP seems complicated. I hope everyone will be understanding.

I have been using MagicJack for a few years with a DSL provider (glad to get rid of them).
I now have 1 gig fiber into the house. Boy am happy. Same price as the old DSL service.

Here is my problem: I am experiencing a DELAY when I answer the phone. I say hello and nothing happens. I say hello again and the other party finally hears me.

What can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks ahead of time.

Give a load more info on the kit you are using and the configuration would be a great starting point.

I am using:
MikroTik 3148 router
magicJackGO

I have 1gig fiber service from Spiral Communications

What else can I provide to assist you?

Thank you

What is mikrotik 3148?

and the configuration

post the output of “/export” in the command line

I did a search in the manual for /export.
I do not understand how to use the DUDE Export. I do not see a Command Line.

Can you show me how to obtain the information you want?

Do you have a MikroTik router at all? This command is for RouterOS command line, where you enter any RouterOS commands.

Dude is not a router.

Here is a picture of the router.
I tapped on the Touch Screen and the menu changed. How do I go BACK?

Does the help you?

Would I be better off having my Service Provider login and make the changes? If yes, what should I tell them to look for?

Definitely ask the person who set the router for you. You cannot succeed with your level of knowledge at the moment.
