Hi I have made connection of Router with firewall rules and have question for Mikrotik Crs model in bridge mode which is connected to main router in bridge only mode
does that mean that Mikrotik Switch can work only with Ip firewall bridge ruled and Ip firewall ip and nat are excluded they will only work when is in router mode,
also fast path will work with no firewall rules included in the bridge and fast track will work if bridge becomes layer 3 devices
When switch is used, there is no packet processing in cpu. If you need to use firewall, you need to pass the traffic to the cpu by bridge.
