Many RouterBOARD models support DDMI. Which model are you talking about specifically?

Hello,I did receive a quick answer from our developer which maintains SwOS. And
unfortunately this ddmi info part wasn’t included in SFP as it was causing a bit
to high load on switch hardware. Therefore it was decided not to support it in SwOS.Regards,

Hello,This feature won’t be supported only in SwOS devices: RB260GS and RB260GSP. In
RouterOS devices it should work if module supports reporting this info.Regards,

i guess buying a cheap media converter is better than this switch after all without DDMI the SFP is just like a simple media converter
