Manage AP from Mikrotik

Hi

is it possible to manage Netgear or other AP with mikrotik? I mean assign ssid password through mikrotik.

Maybe by capsman over capwap protocol. Hope it is standard so if your slave device can use it… Need to test but I am doubtful… Or maybe you meant something different?

It is not. To my knowledge, only CAPsMAN v1 was standard (capwap-compatible), but it’s not available anymore (the CAPsMAN v1 support was in the wireless-fp package that is discontinues since 6.36).
