Hello everyone,
I am new for Mikrotik , and i need you urgent help .
I have Mikrotik router RB951Ui-2HnD . and i have 3 ISP connected through edge routers .
WAN1 : 10.10.1.2 Gateway: 10.10.1.1
WAN2 : 10.10.2.2 Gateway: 10.10.1.1
WAN3 : 192.168.1.20 Gateway: 192.168.1.1
LAN : 10.10.10.0 /0
Mikrotik router IP : 10.10.10.10
i did DMZ setting in ISP router to let 192.168.1.20 to be using 41.x.x.x .
i did merge for the all wan lines using NTH method .
and what i am trying to do is manage my Mikrotik router from outside (Internet ) using my ISP given public IP 41.x.x.x which behind WAN3 interface. what i am trying to do is to separate WAN3 from the merge and to make it dedicated to be used for MIKROTIK Router management and VPN link only .
So are you saying the mikrotik has three PRIVATE WAN IPs???
Why is the relationship between 192.168.1.20 and 41.x.x.x.x even relevant.
What you need to do is figure out which WAN (EDGE ROUTER) will be used to access the MIKROTIK via VPN.
Hint: The one which you can actually port forward from or set static routes.
Assuming you want to remotely wireguard into the Mikrotik for example???
Hi Enav
WAN3 interface is 192.168.1.20 ( mikrotik side ) .
Edge Gateway IP is 192.168.1.1 ( Gateway Side ) ISP Router . and they provided me with Static IP ( 41.x.x.x ) .
from the ISP router i did port forwarding to assign 41.x.x.x to local IP 192.168.1.20
now when i trying to connect any device ex. DVR . i can access it from internet using 41.x,x,x .
but when i trying to connect Mikrotik router . i can’t access is ( Via Winbox or URL:( 41.x.x.x) . this is the issue
You do know Sob, that it is rather annoying that you seem to understand everyones config and are able to solve issues with ease. What do you eat? Is is the natural spring water in your town? Wait, I know, you sold your soul to the devil! )
