Hi All,
I have worked up a little Remote/Home Office solution using some hAP lites but i am struggling to implement remote management.
The hAP lite is configured to work within a lan as it dials out a pptp connection an then establishes a EIOP tunnel over that interface. Ether2-4 are bridged with the EIOP Tunnel and pass Untagged Data (laptops etc..) and Tagged VOIP (For vlan aware voip handset) traffic transparently to the devices plugged into those points. This works very well and the traffic is completely segregated from the local LAN however I want to be able to add my management VLAN so that I can monitor and troubleshoot as required. At the moment i can only access the hAP lites from telnet on the local routerboard using the pptp interface IP’s.
I have attempted to add VLAN interfaces to the Bridge and to the EOIP Tunnel but i still cant ping the IP assigned to that interface or ping the management vlan gateway or other devices. Not sure what to try next.
Thanks
