I’ve found an issue with my CCR routers. The mangle rules limit my throughput to about 200~300mbps with TCP or UDP. I only have 15 rules, 10 of them for routing, 5 for DSCP. It looks like they do not use the use more than one core for each direction. Once it hits 100%, it can’t do anymore.
Is this something that will be fixed? I hate to think that a 16 core router can’t handle more than this.

Yes your observations are correct. Some of the stuff under “firewall” especially mangle, doesnt benefit from multi core. I hope they fix it soon.

TCP sessions to some remote host which supports it, but bond them back into a single vanilla TCP stream for clients?
