Mangle problem - making me nuts

I just can’t find the logic - or a solution to this. Please help.

When I set up the the following rule and log the traffic I can see in the log - and on the counters that there is traffic to dest. 192.168.0.101 on my lan.

However, when I insert the the dst. IP 192.168.0.101 in the rule in order to mark the traffic to this IP. Suddenly there is no flow at all matching the rule.



Can someone tell me why there is suddenly no match to the rule, despite I just checked and there is for sure traffic out the specified interface to 92.168.0.101.

You have the IP address as 191.168.0.101 instead of 192.168.0.101.

I am embarrassed. I guess I was just tired yesterday, But I actually tried with serveral IP’s on my network all with the same results. Nevertheless trying again this morning after reading your answer it worked. I don’t know, maybe I simply made the same mistake copying the first part of the IP.

Anyway. I am glad that it worked as expected and that I have not entirely lost my mind :slight_smile:
