mANT30: too sensitive to nearby radios??

Having lots of problems with several mANT30-PA.

They look to pick up nearby radios (from our own node) in a exagerated manner, I didn’t assembly the antenas (gonna check tomorrow) haven’t been able to get a reliable and reasonably-performing PTP using those and basebox/netbox.

Any experiences???

It is reasonable to catch another mant30 nearby (about 1 meter from each other) at -20 signal strength? Doesn’t this “deafen” the radio? Should the mant30 be earthed in a special manner?

Yes. All antennas do that.

More or less. This is why there are antenna patterns. But I guess it is not the antenna itself.
Mounting unshielded Netbox with pigtails at the back they see each other at high signal levels.

How do you prevent that?

Does that impact CCQ negatively as long as the frequency used is spaced enough from the nearby one?

At -20 frequency has to be far away. May be even then you overload the receiver.
