manual added route doesn't work - need help

I’m very confused now..

I added a PPTP-Client connection without the “add default route” and the route to dst 0.0.0.0/0 with gateway pptp-out1 manually..
I can’t see any difference between the automatic added route (if i set the “add default route” mark) and my manually added route.

But the automatic added route work, the manually added route doesn’t work.
Can anybody tell me why? Whats missing?

try use IP address instead of interface as gateway in your manual rule.

using the ip instead of interface doesn’t fixed it..
but i have an other resolution.. I set the automatic route mark with a high distance and.
So the automatic created route isnt active and my manually added route works with now.

post here “ip route print” from terminal, after your pptp is connect.
