Ok so the problem here is that mAP and wAP products state that they can go up to 57v from DC-in Jack. This is false advertising as we have attempted to feed proper conditioned positive 54v from a meanwell power supply that effectively burned both mAP and wAP that we have tested.
We have also tested lowering to 48v and that provides normal operation on another mAP.
Awaiting your official response as we have 2 bricked devices that where not living up to their specifications.
Probably better to email support if a proper response is required.
Both models are designed to work up to 57 V, and are also tested in such conditions. If both models have failed to powerup from the same power source, this looks more like some overvoltage problem from the PSU side. Also there haven’t beem similar complains with DC supply with 57v.
To verify voltage stability from this PSU would require to use a special equipment.
I would suggest you to contact your local distributor, to investigate the reason of this failure.
