After upgrading from 2.0b5 to 2.0b7 the link and device display stats on the map stopped updating.

in beta6 everything was ok…
I figured out, if you press on the link, for that router data will update…
I was able to resolve this by re-installing a fresh copy and coping the Data directory from the old install over the new install.
Sorry i spoke to soon. This is not resolved. The links update when NOT run as a service, but once dude is run as a service the links no longer update.

Yup, I got the same problem here - running as a service I get no updates for link stats or anything, seems not to be collecting the data at all (cant see any graph history even though the service has been running for 2 days).
Updates fine when run normally (but much much prefer it running as a service).
Also another point - I can’t connect to the local server when its run as a service, I can only connect via a remote client. When run normally I can connect locally.
These issues worked fine with 2.0b6 with the same config.

2.0b7 Changing “Name” or “Type” on a device does not update on the map.

Just wondered if there has been any progress with this? Im asking because im kind of stuck in limbo right now since im still having problems with the map/links/details updating and attempting to downgrade to an earlier version (b5) causes the application to crash. Any information would be great. Thanks.
b8 is out… Anyone tested?
Ive just upgraded from b7 to b8 and so far it seems to have resolved the link/detail/map updating issue while being run as a service. Thank you!
